At Fernleigh Avenue, we understand the unique challenges faced by mothers of tweens and teens when it comes to finding age-appropriate swimwear. It’s tough to strike a balance, parents often find swimsuits their child choses are too revealing, while their daughters consider the parents options too childish. This gap in choices can lead to battles over swimwear, leaving both parties unhappy,.

Our story began with Amy, a mother who recognised this struggle and a gap in the market. With her love for the beach and the ocean, she recognised the need for swimwear that offered both unique style, age-appropriate designs and coverage, designs that make the tween feel confident and stylish, but still allow them to be active and behave like a kid. Inspired to create a solution, she set out to craft unique designs that tweens and teens would love, all while meeting the approval of their parents.

Launched in 2023, Fernleigh Avenue is a proud Australian company that emphasises quality and style. Our swimwear is made from eco-friendly, UPF50+ materials, ensuring girls can enjoy summer fun while staying protected from the sun. Each piece features two layers of fabric, providing durability that prevents stretching, allowing them to outlast the demands of active girls all summer long. Our mission is to provide a swimsuit to parents that actually lasts the summer, preventing them from having to constantly replace stretched and saggy swimwear.
